My name is Tim, and I am the founder of Aussie Expat Home Loans.
I founded Aussie Expat Home Loans with a simple goal - to ensure that Australian Expats were getting the best home loan deals they could.
I am based in Singapore living the expat dream, and being able to explain Expat life first hand means I am able to find better rates and deals that others can't.

Shaun Rattray

Shaun is based in our Hong Kong office, and has been living in HK for the past 5 years. He joins us from a Big 4 Australian Bank where he managed a portfolio of Private Banking clients.
Having spent more than 12 years working in different lending departments, he brings with him a wealth of experience in navigating complex banking processes and coming up with tailored solutions for many different scenarios.
While a Melbournian at heart, Shaun is enjoying his expat experience. He spends his time travelling and discovering different countries and locations within Asia.In Shaun’s downtime, he enjoys a game of squash, getting out on the slopes for a ski and a quiet drink with mates.
Charu Kumar

Charu has been in Singapore for 15 years and is a familiar face in the Singapore Expat scene. She grew up in Sydney and is married to a Melbournian. She has 2 adult sons – previously attended the Australian School, Singapore and both are now at university in Melbourne, VIC.
Charu has a strong financial background and is a qualified Australian Chartered Accountant & completed Postgraduate studies in Business Management which makes her great at breaking down the numbers to work out different lender options for her clients.
Charu loves her sports and Bollywood. She is a cricket fanatic, F1 & AFL follower and played tennis in the Singapore Women’s Tennis League. These days she is trying out her swing at golf! She can also speak fluent Hindi.
She is passionate about helping everyone find the best lender deal that suit your goals, all while doing it with a smile. :)

Paul Truong

Paul joined the AEXPHL family with the goal of helping clients have as simple a process as possible in obtaining finance. He is based in our Melbourne office, working under our Australian business Urbane Finance. He has over 10 years of experience in residential, commercial and SMSF lending and can help you navigate through the abundance of options to find a lender and product that’s suitable for your goals.
Paul’s extensive background in banking, lending, and financial planning means you know that you’re in good hands.
In his spare time, Paul spends his time with his wife and loves to take his Golden Retriever Reggie on long walks.
